Information we collect

When an event host invites you to an event, they may provide your name, mobile phone number, email address, and mailing address so we can deliver your invitation and event updates. When you respond to an invitation, we store your RSVP and any details you choose to add or edit. We also collect basic technical information (such as a magic invitation link identifier) needed to show you the right event.

How we use information

We use your information only to provide the service: to send you the event invitation, reminders, and updates for events you have been personally invited to; to record and manage your RSVP; and to let the event host coordinate their event. We do not use your information for third-party advertising.

SMS / text messaging

If you receive text messages from us, they are sent only for the event you were invited to (invitations and RSVP reminders). Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or get help by replying HELP. See our Messaging Terms for details.

Mobile information is never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We use Twilio solely as our messaging carrier to deliver these texts; text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the service providers required to operate SonderAI (such as our hosting, email, and SMS delivery providers), and only as needed to deliver the service to you, or where required by law.

Data retention & your choices

We keep your information for as long as needed to run the events you're part of. You can ask the event host to remove your details, opt out of texts by replying STOP, or contact us to request deletion of your information.
